Meulan-en-Yvelines (78): A father and his daughter, whose skirt was "too short" and bothered them, were beaten up by a couple on the station platform

According to 78actu , a 58-year-old father and his 28-year-old daughter were violently attacked on July 27, 2025, at Thun-le-Paradis train station in Meulan-en-Yvelines. While they were waiting for a train to a K-pop concert, a couple first shouted "Dirty whore" at them, before crossing the platform and hitting them for no apparent reason.

The man beat the father and daughter for about five minutes, even using an aerosol can as a weapon, while his partner, who arrived on a scooter, attacked the young woman. The attackers also tried to extort €140 from them, threatening them with: "If I don't kill you, I'll kill your father."

The next day, the attacker followed the father into the street. The two suspects were arrested and brought before the Versailles court on August 1. The prosecutor denounced "extremely brutal and gratuitous violence" and obtained their remand in custody, pending their trial scheduled for September 23, 2025.
